I start my days by checking emails first thing in the morning follow by Facebook, Instagram and Twitter messages before breakfast and today is of no exception. The inspiration of this blog post comes from what I read on someone’s FB post this morning which, with her consent, I am happy to share with you, my readers.
Honestly, I have lost count on the number of staffs we have recruited during the last 5 years. Some of them are university/college students working part time while having their semester breaks or after their classes, some are simply waiting to be called for interviews. We also have staffs who have been with us since Day 1. To me, it doesn’t really matter how long they work but it is the skills they pick up and their contributions while working at Mr Baker that counts. Every job gives an opportunity to learn. A cashier or sales attendant, for instance, learns about PR skills, teamwork, responsibility and time management. These are some of the valuable skills which are essential regardless of what career you are in next time.
Due to current expansion, we are now seeking for individuals to join and become a member of Mr Baker’s big family. Positions available are bread trainees, cake assistants and cashiers. In this context, we are proud to share that about 75% of our current workforce are Brunei Citizens or Permanent Residents.
